Hi, I am Jessica Jones, lead photographer at J Smith Images.

I fell in love with photography in 2017 during a trip to Israel. There was something special about preserving memories that I could always revisit. To this day, I look back at those images and feel like I'm walking the streets of Tel Aviv all over again.

This is why I love photography. I love the emotion that a still image exudes and the way it makes people feel, especially when they see the finished product. Capturing a smile or a milestone moment creates a lasting connection with my clients. They will look at that image and be transported right back to that moment.

I have a laid-back and comfortable approach to photography—I like for people to just be themselves. Being particularly camera shy myself, I find that candid images convey the most emotion. My goal is always to put my clients at ease so they have the most enjoyable experience possible. Seeing my clients' excited expressions as they review the amazing images we've captured brings me such joy.

When I'm not shooting a portrait session or wedding, you can find me spending time with my family.....my husband Brandon, who is also my in-house videographer, occasional second shooter, and lighting assistant, my sons Aaron and Braxton; and my fur-baby, King.
